Mr. Albright has B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Psychology from Hobart College, an MHA from Duke University and a Certificate of Completion from Harvard’s Program of Healthcare Financial and Strategic Management.
He brings 35 years of experience as an Executive, CEO, Board Member, Advisor and Consultant in the healthcare industry. He was responsible at first for individual departments of UNC School of Medicine Teaching Hospital, serving on the Vice-Chancellor’s Advisory Board and as Vice President and Triad Officer of the North Carolina Memorial Hospital. Albright then became from 1980 -1987 the EVP and COO of the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, a 545 bed community teaching hospital in Greensboro, NC. While there he also served as Director of the Greensboro Area Health Education Center. From 1987-1995 he served as CEO and Board Member of Bayfront Medical Center, a 512 community teaching center in St. Petersburg, FL. While there he Chaired VHA of Florida, the VHA Clinical and Financial Information System Development Committee and the VHA Washington Office Political Oversight Committee. In 1995, Albright became CEO of Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC to prepare and initiate a sale of the 400 bed community hospital to the UNC School of Medicine in 2000. Since 2000 Albright has served as President and CEO of Albright and Associates, LLC in St. Petersburg, FL providing consultation to law firms, healthcare institutions, healthcare start up companies and individual entrepreneurs.
